Pharmaceutical companies are already exempt from liability for the majority of currently marketed vaccines under the 1986 National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act; this has been a huge disaster for consumers and a boon to the drug industry – leading to a $50 billion dollar market. Now, all  “countermeasures” and “covered persons” are exempted from liability for COVID-19 under the Public Readiness and Emergency Preparedness Act (PREP Act).

Most consumers are unaware that there is little accountability or recourse and that under this arrangement there is little to incentivize accountability – or safety.

That is why, on November 29, 2020, I took part with others in an international demonstration today to raise awareness  by displaying a large banner, with the message: “COVID-19 VACCINE MANUFACTURERS ARE EXEMPT FROM LIABILITY”.

This action was part of a global event to educate people on the risks and the lack of liability leading to safety loopholes that can hurt people. There were fifty states and three countries participating.

Vaccine risk event goes global.

“All medical procedures require informed consent. Vaccination is no different, but the reality is vaccines are routinely administered without informing the recipient of severe and acknowledged risks. A fast-tracked COVID-19 vaccine means no long term and limited safety studies. With the potential for severe adverse reactions and widespread vaccine mandates, it is critical that people understand their rights, the true scope of risk involved in vaccinating and the lack of adequate recourse if they suffer an adverse reaction,” said V is for Vaccine co-founder Joshua Coleman, organizer of the global event.
