Health Choice Vermont coalesced in 2012 in response to efforts by medical association, hospital and drug lobbyists to remove the philosophical exemption (PE) from parents. An “exemption” is currently the only way to a parent or adult can refuse one or more vaccination doses recommended for school attendance or a job.
We are the oldest health freedom organization in Vermont and an important alliance of concerned parents, health care advocates, scientists, farmers and health care providers who network and advocate for your freedom to choose, and your right to refuse unwanted vaccines and other medical procedures – without coercion. Your power is your voice. We remain committed to defending and supporting our human right to informed consent and parent consent in medicine, as well as scientific and journalistic honesty and integrity. We have been working hard every day for free, since 2012 to ensure you remain able to access the information, products and practitioners you wish to use to maintain and improve your health.
You have the right to be fully informed about the true risks of medical interventions. We have always had to be impeccable with our word, and use fully referenced science. With your help, we have fought back many bad bills and written and introduced many good bills over the years, thanks to the courage of our members and leaders. This website is meant as a gathering point for information and as an educational repository, for the public. It is fully searchable and contains years of data and information.
Coercion is not consent. We have over the years faced aggressive censorship for having opinions which fall outside the drug lobby agenda and this continues. We are thankful to the many people who have helped us along the way and to those who will join us and take up our work successfully into the future.
